Worldtown Soundsystem Announce EP Release and Spring Tour

Worldtown Soundsystem is proud to announce the release of their new EP, "House of Love" on April 20, 2023. With a foundation in one of the world's most universal musical languages, House Music, Worldtown Soundsystem has been fusing electronic dance music, global rhythms, and Philly soul into a uniquely energetic sound for over a decade.

The new EP, "House of Love," showcases the band's signature sound, incorporating soulful house and globally inspired electronic dance music. The EP features five electrifying tracks that embody the band's energy, transcending borders and elevating their sound to new heights. Notable collaborations on the EP include five-time Grammy Award winner Pablo Batista on percussion and co-production, vocals from rising stars Zeek Burse and Fawziyya Heart, international high fashion supermodel Anna Cleveland, and Miyeko and Leonzo of the Philly music collective Global Village.

The EP includes the track "Another One," a poignant reflection on the senseless violence that continues to plague our society. Co-written by Zeek Burse and Worldtown Soundsystem founder Ben Arsenal, the song features Zeek as the lead vocalist and was inspired by the need for positive change in the face of constant tragedy. The lyrics, "I'm sick and tired of hearing another person has died," speak to the band's frustration with the never-ending cycle of violence that seems to plague our society. Through their music, Worldtown Soundsystem hopes to inspire listeners to take action and make a difference in their communities. The band's message is one of unity and hope, and they believe that music can serve as a powerful force for change.
